I have used 3 different types of stylus (including the Doceri GoodPoint and the adonit Jot Pro) and have had serious difficulty with skipping with all of them. It's getting extremely frustrating and I need to find a solution. It seems to get worse the longer I have the program open. If you have any help for this situation I would deeply appreciate it!

Zoom and finer print
Two things:
1) I need a ZOOM feature that allows me to take whatever is on the Doceri screen that the students are looking at and zoom in for their benefit. I can easily zoom in in my iPad, but that does not translate to the screen. For several of my visually impaired students, this is a problem. With my generic IWB, I can simply place my cursor over a section and zoom in.... Way way in, and then zoom back out again, sometimes way way out! Doceri, as far as I can tell does not support this feature. The only solution I have come up with is to select notes I have written and then enlarge that text (typically after pasting it into its own new slide so I don't screw up everything that has already been written). But this method is really clunky and most of the times impractical because what needs zooming was not something I wrote but rather something which I am annotating on top of.
2) I have a large-ish board that I am writing on but I would much rather be able to write twice as small as the smallest font available and maximize the space that I have to work with... Particularly if I can zoom in (see point 1 above) to this chunk of information or that chunk of information. Is it not possible to allow the user to zoom in to a section and have the new font size correlate to the size of this newest section? Sometimes I need to write several points that either were previously forgotten, I did not wish to discuss until later or as answers to students' questions. I want to write them directly above the material that they pertain to not on some other random slide that later will not translate to a student who is viewing these notes for the first time, etc...
Just some food for thought...

IOS7 & Doceri Not Recording & Crashing
I have Doceri 2.0.2 and IOS7.0.2 ...upon launching the app and select recording my session. No time indicators in the clock pane show progress of time. In addition, once I quit the recording session the session immediately crashes. I reinstalled the APP, restarted the iPad, reset the iPad....nothing offers any changes nor any capability to record appears and the app still crashes...
Any suggestions?

When will there be an update
Hi when will be the next update of Doceri iPad.? It was last updated in March? There are a couple of bugs in the software. Still it is the app I use the most in the classroom.

opening .docerd
I had my students share their doceri presentations through Schoology and they were all .docerd files. I can't open any of them. Is there any way to get these files open?

Exporting videos and pdfs to your computer using Transmit and/or Good Reader
Having used Doceri for a while, I've been exporting my videos and pdfs to Good Reader first, and then uploading them to my computer from there. Recently Transmit, by Panic, has provided an option: When you hit the share icon in Doceri, one option is "Transmit," if it is installed on your iPad. It will open with a list of the servers you have already configured for it, and it will allow you to drill down to the folder you want to put your stuff on, and then upload it there. This avoids the extra step, and also avoids having an extra copy of your stuff on the iPad. I have no connection to Panic, other than having forked over ten bucks for the app, and I'm glad I did! Be advised, however, that at the moment Transmit has no options for DropBox, Google Drive, etc.: you must have an ftp, sftp, etc. URL to use it. Good Reader, on the other hand, gives you access to those services. My strategy is to upload it to the Google Drive folder on my Mac, and then let things sync.

Saved Files Location
I'm not sure about the location of saving files. I have my license transferred to the iPad so I can connect to multiple desktops in different classrooms. The Doceri desktop software has settings for where the files get saved on their local hard drives, but all of my files and projects seem to be on the iPad and not on the desktop PCs. Is there a default that saves files & projects to the iPad that I am not aware of?
This is not all bad, because I do not want my saved files on a variety of desktops, but I do want them saved more securely than just on the iPad. How do I save them to my cloud drives, GDrive or OneDrive, and have easy access to them at all times? Can I save all files in the cloud and sync some of them? Sooner or later I'll max out the storage on the iPad, so I need a safe main storage location.

Surface Pro 3 - Win 8.1
I have a new Surface Pro 3 tablet and have loaded the Win8.1 app on the SP3. I moved my files from the old iPad to the desktop pc. I figured once all files were on the desktop pc then new tablets would be able to see them. However, I cannot see the desktop files from the SP3. When I have the tablet connected to the desktop pc, and select the desktop pc as the location to browse for projects, I get the message "there was a problem opening this location." I get this with every attempt. Is there some set up that I'm missing on the SP3 to see desktop files?

Activity Stream Gender Confusion
I notice several women changing their profile picture and it is noting that:
"changed his profile picture."
I think hers is what it is going for, but I don't see a gender selection in the profile details. Maybe just change the verbiage to:

Doceri Desktop export to PDF - please help!
I have been using Doceri on the iPad, and it was easy enough to export the file to pdf and email it to students. Today for the first time, I used Doceri Desktop, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to export it to PDF. Surely it should be more intuitive - or maybe it's right under my nose and I'm not seeing it. Please help! HOW DO I EXPORT .DOCERD to PDF?

can I edit the audio after I complete?
I did not pause recording while I stopped to look somethings up.How do I delete the last 2 minutes of the audio and, hopefully, add a closing.

Is there any way to move a slide?

Split screen
I'm trying to help a teacher who uses her iPad and Doceri on a daily basis, but today it is not working correctly. She uses it to show what is on her "extended" screen through a projector. Today, her Doceri is showing half of screen one (her computer) and half of screen 2 (her extended screen). I've attached a picture. Does anyone have a fix for this? I tried changing her display settings for her extended screen and that didn't change this.

I just completed the Doceri Training Course. I have been using the program for two months to educate first and second year osteopathic medical students. In the ancient days of my career I preferred the overhead projector and acetates to engage residents and medical students. This program affords a degree of interaction with students that standard presentation programs do not. This program permits topic development at a pace that students can process. Too often we will rely on a boat load of slides with a complete idea on each slide, at a pace that the students cannot process. The students become dependent on the slides/handouts at the expense of reading and critical thought development...I am very much looking forward to challenging the students!

Bluetooth replacing Wifi
I would like to have Doceri linking my Macbook and my iPad over Bluetooth rather than Wifi. My school has a ridiculous Wifi-system, and the "administrators" have got no clue. Is this possible/happening soon?
